Frequently Asked Questions
Known locally as “Southport fair” or “Southport funfair”, formerly ‘Pleasureland’ Adventure Coast has grown to become one of the best small family amusement parks in Great Britain.
When you visit us, you can expect hours of family fun across four magical themed lands: Cartoon Boardwalk, Pirate Cove, Steampunk Bay and Viking Landing.
Adventure Coast Southport prices vary, so please refer to our booking page for up-to-date details.
Remember that it’s ALWAYS cheaper to book online!
Yes – we’re one of the few dog-friendly theme parks in the UK. We welcome well-behaved dogs but ask that they’re kept on leads at all times.
Absolutely. We’ve cooked up some fantastic food and drink options – but if you’d prefer to pack your own, that’s fine. You’ll find lots of picnic tables where you can enjoy your sandwiches and snacks.
The only restriction is on alcohol. You can only consume alcoholic drinks that you’ve purchased in our Southport amusement park.
Buy your ticket online and enjoy unlimited access to dozens of exciting rides.
We believe that our simple ticketing system delivers the best possible value and the least fuss for everyone. It’s like an all-you-can-eat buffet: for one low entry price, you can enjoy as many rides as you want – all day long.
Your ticket includes UNLIMITED access to more than 30 rides across four themed lands. You’ll find lots of fun carnival games and tasty food options here too. These have to be paid for separately, so bring your bank card to avoid disappointment.
We sure do! Check our booking page to see how much you could save.
Adventure Coast is a small, friendly family amusement park – so queues are rarely a problem here. That’s why we don’t offer fast passes. It keeps things simple and fair for all our visitors.
You may have to queue for a short time if a ride is especially popular. If you’d rather not queue, we recommend that you visit the most popular rides at quieter times. This tends to be right after the gates open or towards the end of the day.
If you have trouble queueing, you can ask one of your group to keep your place in the queue while you take a seat nearby. Our ride operators are used to this and will let you rejoin the queue when you’re ready.
We welcome fun-seekers of all ages – but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
If you want to make changes to your booking or you haven’t received your confirmation email, please contact us at hello@adventurecoastsouthport.co.uk. For modifications to existing bookings, please ensure you email us BEFORE your day of arrival.
We don’t usually let rain stop the fun – but in extreme weather conditions, we may have to close the park. See our rain check policy for full details.
Please note that we don’t offer refunds for non-attendance.
Yes. We have two large car parks on site. Here’s where to find them.
We welcome everyone at Adventure Coast Southport and endeavour to make our park as accessible as possible for neurodivergent people and those with disabilities. Check our accessibility info to learn more.
Not without permission. Please email park management at hello@adventurecoastsouthport.co.uk before your day of arrival with details of what you intend to film and why.
We reserve the right to refuse permission for any filming and photography in the park. The site is private property, not public land.
We aim to be the happiest family theme park in England. So if anything happens during your visit that you’re not happy about, please let a member of staff know as soon as possible. This is really important – we won’t be able to resolve issues unless they’re brought to our attention on the day.
The most efficient way to arrange a large group booking is to email our dedicated team at hello@adventurecoastsouthport.co.uk – we’re looking forward to welcoming you!
No. We accept card payments only because it keeps things simple for everyone. Don’t forget to bring your bank card (or prepare a packed lunch!)
We have strict rules on this: no alcohol is allowed to be brought into the park. The good news is that we have several bars on site where you can wet your whistle.
We’re proud to say that ALL our food and beverage outlets have achieved a 5-star food hygiene rating.
If you’re a paying guest with a disability, you may be eligible for an Essential Companion ticket. This gives an additional guest access to the park, free of charge. To qualify, the companion must be there to provide disability-related support that is significant, substantial and beyond what could reasonably be expected of any friends or family in your group.
Before getting one, you need to successfully apply through our partner Nimbus. Then, you can book your Adventure Coast Southport tickets online and email access@adventurecoastsouthport.co.uk with your booking reference, full name and Nimbus ID number. If you’ve been awarded a +1 on your Nimbus account, our team will add a complimentary Essential Companion ticket to your booking. If not, you’ll need to pay admission for the whole group.
A guest with an Essential Companion ticket accepts responsibility for supporting you in the park and providing any additional support in the event of an emergency. Our staff can provide assistance only in line with our roles and reasonable adjustments.
Please apply online at least seven working days before your visit.
If you’re applying just to visit Adventure Coast, you can do so free of charge. However, you also have the option of upgrading to a full Access Card for £15. These cards are valid for three years and accepted at thousands of locations, including many other amusement parks and leisure attractions, across the UK and beyond.
If you can’t use the online form, ring Nimbus on 0330 808 5108 to register.
Where possible, please apply at least seven working days before your visit. Nimbus will aim to process your application within this time-frame, although it can take longer during peak times. You have the option of supplying Nimbus with your planned visit date, which it will take into account when processing your application.
If you already have a full and valid Access Card that’s been awarded with an Essential Companion “+” icon, you can book your tickets online and then email access@adventurecoastsouthport.co.uk with your booking reference, full name and Nimbus ID number. Our team will then add a complimentary Essential Companion ticket to your booking.
If you haven’t been awarded a “+” icon on your Nimbus account, you will need to pay admission for everyone in your group.
Please ensure you bring your Access Card, Nimbus account details and tickets with you on the day.
Unfortunately, you’re unable to apply with less than 24 hours’ notice. This is to ensure that Nimbus has enough time to process all your supporting documents. While you can make an application less than seven working days before your visit, it gives Nimbus less time to review your application.
If you haven’t applied online through Nimbus, or have applied but not had a reply, you won’t be able to collect a free Essential Companion ticket. In this situation, each member of your group will have to buy a valid ticket to enter the Park.
Please note that our team at Adventure Coast Southport can accept only a valid Access Card or Adventure Coast Access Registration. It’s not within our scope to review or approve any supporting documentation. Any such requests will be declined and all guests required to pay for admission.
